This year, in 2018, is the Welsh Year of The Sea. Following on from last year’s Year of Legends, this year’s theme seeks to encourage everyone in Wales, from tourists to local people, to discover the magic of Wales’ beaches, shorelines and coastal pathways. Wales is home to a 870-mile coastal path that runs the whole length of the coastline, with hundreds of harbours, coves, islands, and 230 beaches. Scattered along the Welsh coastline also rest several gorgeous market and harbour towns, such as New Quay, Aberaron and Aberystwyth.

So, come down to Wales and experience all the magic and wonder that Wales has to offer! Sample the finest food and drink made by the most passionate Welsh people, experience the wonderous countryside, and take a walk alongside the magnificent shorelines of this beautiful country.
