If you saw our recent Instagram post on the lovely Pizza Tipi, you may be intrigued to know more. Situated in the beautiful town of Cardigan, on the banks of the Teifi, this high quality pizza restaurant is run by four brothers and a group of their friends.

The menu boasts a range of pizza products, which are each made up of local, quality ingredients. In one of their latest Instagram posts, the restaurant served up a delicious pizza, topped with crab claw, crab dressing, watercress, an oregano base, and lemon. Pizzatipi restaurant is open on Friday 4-9pm, and Sunday 12-5pm.

The UK’s biggest pod of dolphins lives in thevibrant waters of Cardigan Bay, where they are a daily sight for visitors andscientists like Sarah Perry, who moved to New Quay to study these beautifulanimals. She has been watching these dolphins for more than a decade, and is onfirst-name terms with them.

Sarah Perry is a zoologist and science officer withthe Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales as well as the Cardigan Bay MarineWildlife Centre which carries out critical research into the area’s residentdolphins and porpoises. Their work consists of activities such as boat surveysand beach cleans – last month the group – which consists of volunteers –managed to clear 1,072 pieces of litter from New Quay beach alone.
